Under Trump, the U.S. is no longer a civilized country. How could we have come to this? It makes me sad, embarrassed, and angry; all at the same time. I can’t believe Americans voted for this, twice.
Not ready to give up, though. Don’t think we can ever go back to the status quo ante, but we must work to pull ourselves up to higher ground. We owe it to our children. The moral arc of the universe won’t bend on its own.
